We are a fast-growing MIT/Harvard startup that's revolutionizing burnout prevention, productivity increase, and wellness management for finance professionals. Backed by the MIT deltaV accelerator, we're building an AI-enabled mobile app that provides better awareness of your wellbeing goals and personalized, actionable advice to help you build confidence and productivity.

Role Summary

As the Founding iOS Engineer at Health+, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product's future. This is a unique opportunity to be the first engineering hire and a key member of the founding team, where you will have a direct impact on the development and success of our platform. You'll work closely with our CTO and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy a world-class mobile experience that empowers finance professionals to take control of their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Build upon our existing MVP 1.0, which is already live on TestFlight and has onboarded initial users.
• Work directly with the CTO to optimize existing features and implement new features that enhance the app's functionality and user experience.
• Continuously explore and integrate new technologies and best practices to keep our app at the forefront of digital health solutions.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in Swift/Xcode, including capabilities integration such as HealthKit and CoreLocation. Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, encryption algorithms such as GPS fuzzing, and privacy best practices regarding health data.
• Passion for Mental Health: A strong commitment to using technology to improve mental health.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Experience working in early-stage startups, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’re comfortable taking initiative and working effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
• Quick Learner: Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches quickly.
• Feedback-Responsive: Open to receiving and acting on feedback, with a growth-oriented mindset.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills, able to organize tasks effectively, report to the CTO, and collaborate well with our team.
• Proactive Ownership: You take ownership of your work and have the creative freedom to innovate and improve the product.
• Proven Track Record: Past projects that demonstrate proficiency in app development, entrepreneurship, AI, and working with health data are highly valued.
